During a reflection on who we are and how we embody faith, one parishioner noted she was particularly bothered by bags of clothing left at donation bins during the pouring rain. This led to the question of whether we could provide clothing for those in need. Shortly thereafter, the St. Paul's clothing cupboard opened its doors in the space that was formerly the rector's office and quickly expanded to the stage.
Clothing is generously donated from folks around the region. "My grandson packs up all his best clothes and has his friends do likewise. They all live in west Windsor, and they know it’s St. Paul’s." These donations enable us to provide clothing for free to those referred to us by the local Food banks and other agencies.
"I would like to thank you for helping me get ready for my new baby. It was a bit challenging trying to get ready for her arrival."
"The cloths cupboard helps me provide clothing for me and my children. It makes life easier on me to have a place where I can access free cloths and also donate my used clothes back to."
"I'm a single man on a fixed income. I enjoy thrift shopping but to have found good quality clothing for free is awesome. The volunteers here are non-judgmental and friendly. We are lucky to have a service like this. The clothing is always clean and good quality. Thank you for this."
The clothing cupboard is generally open: Tues & Thurs 9am - noon.
